Amina

Amina is a name I came across in east Africa that translates to "so be it", which for me represents a state of acceptance or letting go.

This piece was inspired by the idea that peace is not something one can attain externally, and that something must be acknowledged or accepted within oneself to feel a sense of inner peace, or even peace in relation to another being.
