The Stag

The strength of the stag is symbolised by the antlers as stags use these to defend themselves. Unlike horns antlers are regenerative and have to be shed and regrown every year. When stags are shedding their antlers, they pass through periods of vulnerability. For me this process is a beautiful reminder that even an animal as majestic as a stag has to pass through periods of vulnerability to become stronger.
