Indigenous

This piece was inspired by 12 different indigenous cultures from around the world. After coming across all these amazing cultures I was fascinated by how much some of them have in common, even though every single one is isolated from each other. I found the similarities in their cultures to be a testament to their common humanity, for example each of these cultures is heavily reliant on nature and live a sustainable lifestyle with respect for their environment. They all have a high reverence for nature and see themselves as a part of nature. Each of these tribes decorate themselves with items and pigments found in, or forged from nature.
