Acacia

This piece was inspired by the Acacia tree. The Acacia tree is indigenous to Africa and some parts of Asia.

In ancient Egypt it was described as the tree of life because of its ability to make its surrounding soil more fertile by converting nitrogen in air to nitrogen in soil. When the leaves of the Acacia tree are fed on by giraffes they release a chemical that travels down wind to surrounding Acacia trees, the surrounding leaves intent with the chemical their leaves become bitter and unappealing to giraffes.

They also produce 10x more DMT than humans. Which is the chemical responsible for dreams and hallucinations in every living thing - we produce high levels when we're born and when we die.
